LatinTRENDS Proudly Sponsors The DREAM Project Annual Fundraiser to Support Quality Education for Children in the Dominican Republic

New York, NY (PRWEB) November 09, 2014

The Dominican Republic Education and Mentoring (DREAM) Project (http://www.dominicandream.org) will host their 3rd annual benefit fundraiser in New York City, Sueños 2014, to continue offering educational opportunities and a future free from poverty for present and future generations of Dominican youth. This exclusive event will take place on November 13th, at Saleya Tribeca Restaurant.

“It is an honor for LatinTRENDS to support organizations that help break the cycle of poverty that continues to affect so many children in the Dominican Republic,” said Juan Guillen, Publisher and CEO of LatinTRENDS. “It’s not only our duty, but, our pleasure to support organizations such as The DREAM Project, that provide quality education to children around the world.”

The event will feature a live performance by Andre Veloz & Friends and an exhibition of Dominican artists. Additionally, the Playa Grande Foundation, part of the Playa Grande Club & Resort will be presented with a special recognition for the impactful work their foundation has contributed in the Dominican Republic.

Invitations to this year’s benefit have been extended to special celebrities, local personalities and media. Special, invited guests include cast members from Orange is the New Black, including star Dascha Polanco.

Sueños 2014 is proud to host some of New York’s prominent philanthropists, Latino leaders and community members for a spectacular cause…the future of our children.

All proceeds from the event will go towards DREAM’s early childhood development, at-risk youth and workforce development programs, offering thousands of children the opportunity to escape the cycle of poverty. As official sponsors of the event, JetBlue, Playa Grande Club & Reserve, UBS, Saleya Tribeca and LatinTRENDS have placed a premium on this critical need.
